How to Use PolyBlend 35

Step-by-Step Application Instructions

  1. Warm the engine oil to approximately 100°F before beginning.
  2. Drain the oil, replace the filter, and fill with the appropriate amount of PolyBlend 35.
    Dosage formula: Multiply the total quarts of motor oil required by 0.35.
    Example: If your engine requires 5 quarts of motor oil: 5 × 0.35 = 1.75 quarts of PB35.
  3. Top off with the required amount of any engine oil according to the engine dipstick.
  4. ⚠️ IMPORTANT: Do NOT use a funnel. The product will overflow.
  5. To fill: Support the bag, remove the plastic cap, and the product will easily and quickly flow into the motor.
  6. Getting every last drop: Using a long-bladed screwdriver, roll up the bag like a tube of toothpaste while keeping the bag opening centered on the oil fill opening. This technique easily yields another ounce of product — with no waiting.
  7. Congratulate yourself for joining the 21st century of advanced polymers for your engine, using a 95% biodegradable product and saving 80% of the plastic found in common plastic oil "cans". 

A Note on Oil Changes

When it's time to change your oil consider having a sample analyzed first. Most of our clients are pleasantly surprised to learn their oil is still very effective. You may only need to  change the oil filter. This is the gold standard for commercial fleet operators. Using this procedure in our personal vehicles has saved us not only money, but has produced less wasted oil from unnecessary oil changes. Motor oil testing companies may easily be found with your favorite web search engine.
